Biography

Víctor Manuel Rodríguez of the San Pedro Sula Rotary Club, Honduras. He has a degree in business administration and a degree in law. Married to Lizeth Erazo de Rodríguez, father of three daughters and one boy. He joined the Rotary family in 1996 and served their club in all positions including secretary and treasury, becoming president in 2005-2006.

For eight years he was the director of the Rotary newsletter for his club and has been an advisor to the Boards of Directors from 2007 to 2020. He is a Paul Harris PH + 3 Fellow and a Benefactor Fellow. Within District 4250 he has been: Chairperson of the Rotary Pro-World Peace Scholarship Committee, Assistant Governor for the periods 2009-2010, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013; In addition to other important positions, he was: president of the 2011 District Conference under the governorship of the PDG José Darío Gámez, District Instructor 2016-2017 under the governor of the PDG Carlos R. Flores and Nominee Governor in the 2019-2020 period. He has attended 18 district conferences, 11 Moravian days, the Rotary Institutes of Guatemala, Panama, and Mexico, 3 project fairs, and the World Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

Among his participation in various community unions, the following stand out: from a very young age he dedicated himself to radio communication and is currently the main partner and president of the Globo Comunicaciones company that operates 4 radio stations in the northern part of Honduras. He has been president of the National Association of Broadcasters of Honduras (ANARH) from 1992 to 1995, president of the Union of Central American Broadcasters (UNARCA) from 1993 to 1995, president of the Board of Directors of Centro Cultural Sampedrano since 2019, and member of the Regional Board of Directors of TELETHON since 2007.
