Biography

Darrell Bradley is an attorney, educator, leader, mentor, trainer, consultant and political commentator. Darrell is a partner at Bradley Ellis & Co. Law Firm and he teaches part-time at the University of the West Indies (Open Campus) and Wesley Junior College. Darrell served as President of the Belize Senate, Chairman of the Social Security Appeal’s Tribunal, Mayor of Belize City, President of the Belize Mayor’s Association, Vice-president of the London-based Commonwealth Local Government Forum, Vice-president of the Belize Bar Association and a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Bank of Belize. Darrell has done consultancy and training work for international, government and civil society organizations and he is a frequent panellist and speaker at international conferences and he regularly appears as a television commentator and speaks on political and governance issues. Darrell earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology, International Studies and Law, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching, and a Certificate of Legal Education. Darrell is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honour and service fraternity. Darrell is married to Julie-Ann Bradley, who is also an attorney, and they have two children.
